From Puerto Princesa City, you can ride a jeepney, a bus or a van going to Port Barton, San Vicente, Palawan.
The jeepney, shuttle vans and buses going to Port Barton are also located at San Jose Terminal in San Jose, Puerto Princesa City.
To get to San Jose Terminal from the city proper you can ride a multicab outside the gate of Puerto Princesa International Airport. Fare is around P12 and it may take approximately 10 minutes travel time depending upon the traffic conditions. During rush hours, it may take you more or less 15 to 3 minutes to get to San Jose Terminal.
Alternatively, you may ride a taxi inside Puerto Princesa International Airport which may cost more. Riding a trike (tricycle) is also an option, but most of the drivers charge around P100 from the airport to the terminal. With almost the same fare for metered taxi, many tourist prefers riding a taxi rather than a trike.
TIP: It is a must to talk about the fare with the driver before leaving the airport.
There are two jeepneys going to Port Barton from Puero Princesa City namely 4 Philip and Alyssa. The bus that leaves Puerto Princesa City for Port Barton is San Isidro Express.
They all have return trips from Port Barton to Puerto Princesa City on a regular basis. Do not forget to ask the driver for the schedule of their return trip to Puerto Princesa City. You may also ask the assistance of the resort receptionist for the schedules of shuttle vans going to Puerto Princesa City.
